High water crossings, made tougher due to fresh snow cover over very thin ice. Took a long time for the 3 crossings due to the tough time identifying a solid path across. |

| Comments: |
Very tough day. Access road was just closed. Broke trail for about 4 out of ththe 6.25 miles up. High drifts, with an average of 12"of fresh snow, with much deeper powder near the summit. Took 8 hours up and back, with a total of 12.5 miles. |
