Comments
Comments: pretty full snow coverage along the whole route. depths varied, but were often over a foot with deeper sections and some drifting in spots. on rockier sections of trail there is still not enough to fully bury obstacles so some care is required with footing while snowshoeing. some ice on ledgier sections, but it was almost all buried enough to be a non issue. the reed road trail had been tracked out up to west quarry. after that the trails had been untouched until i got around to rand where i found the same snowshoe tracks that had gone up west quarry. i did a couple short bushwhacks up on rand to cut off a bit of trail and miss a section of ledge that i assumed to be icy under the snow. from rand i followed the older snowshoe tracks down to glidden road then dropped down glidden road for a bit to an old vague road that cuts over to reed road trail a minute or two above the gate.
