Comments
Comments: Beautiful day in the mountains. Snowshoes were very useful if you were one of the first people up the trail....(esp. for the drifted in snow below the hut) but by the afternoon, there was quite a packed trail and with warmer temps, it started getting slippery on the steep descent. I never needed crampons as the snowpack above tree line is already quite impressive for November! I was in snowshoes all day. Great seeing so many happy folks out enjoying the day!!
