Comments
Comments: Wet and soggy day. Walked up haystack road until FR304A (with distinct 3 boulders) splits to the right. Took that a short ways following set of snowshoe tracks. Turnoff from FR304A to the herd path was not terribly obvious but we had the luxury of following a set of tracks from someone who found it. Herd path has signs of maintenance lower down to clear branches and flagging from time to time. Tracks stopped before the top so we broke out a route to the summit. We lost the herd path from time to time and cut through some thick spruce at one point. We located Canister and sign at the top. Snowshoes worked well for the breaking and were fine top to bottom except a few short stretches of exposed rocks which are avoidable.

First time using Gaia gps app. It worked really well!
