Comments
Comments: This was a nice hike. 2nd attempt at this one, this time approaching from Mahoosuc Trail side. Crossed footbridge, followed signs saying "AMC Trail" along wide rd until we came to the Mahoosuc Trail sign and started climbing. Nice, moderate climb, well blazed, we both wore snowshoes the whole way up. Only saw one other on the trail, who was bare booting. I switched to spikes on the way down because my snowshoes were getting a little caught up in several exposed rocks and sticks and made it harder to get around some of the blowdowns on the trail. Views were fantastic.
