| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The White Ledge Campground gate is shut, and the small area near the road is not plowed. A vehicle with high-ish ground clearance should be able to manage. I parked a ways down the road instead. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Drifts |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
A few places where stepping on rocks was necessary. One narrow log required some negotiation. |

| Lost and Found: |
Someone found a single microspike rig and hung it on the sign for the White Ledge Trail. |

| Comments: |
The blazes weren't as bad as I'd feared, and previous snowshoers had established the trail fairly well. Although there are patches where microspikes could be doable, trying to go without snowshoes the whole way would spoil the path. |
