| Comments: |
Snow is setting up with the colder temperatures, but not firm enough to support bareboots without postholing; snowshoes needed. Snowpack is on average about a foot deep, other than the areas of running water on Old Mountain Road. Snowpack off trail is firm enough to snowshoe without sinking in much; great bushwhacking potential.
Thank you thank you thank you to whomever snowshoed the trail just before the cold temperatures arrived; they fixed most of the postholes before they had a chance to set up. |
