Comments
Comments: Returning from our attempt to cross Downes Brook we decided to do the UNH loop (or part of it) instead. Went up as far as Allen's Ledges, I was too tired and it was mid afternoon. Nice views from there, as well as from the trail itself where it passes the logged area. Microspikes were sufficient, snowshoes went for a ride. There wee a few minor postholes off the edge of the trail in a few places. A few moose postholes as well - and some moose piles.
