Parking/Access Road Notes: Maybe two inches of new snow in the lot at the end of Mt. Clinton Road. Was plowed by the time I got back. Originally planned on Moosilauke. At 9:30am Friday the Ravine Lodge Road was unplowed with a few inches of fresh snow. Gate was open though. No car tracks.

Comments
Comments: Crawford Path was hard packed all the way to tree line. Mainly writing this for Webster Cliff Trail from Pierce to the Mizpah Hut for the weekend traffic. After pushing through the initial chest deep drifts at the top of Pierce, for the most part I could follow the trail with care. Only went off trail once but quickly backtracked. Only a few locations with significant drifts. As you get closer to the hut, postholes showed up. Near the hut and the entire length of Mizpah cutoff has a set of deep frozen postholes. Nowhere close to being filled in unfortunately. Even with the snow having a crust, without snowshoes you will definitely add to the postholes. Cut-off is easy to follow though. Crawford Cliff Spur was interesting. With a crusty layer of angled snow, using snowshoes was kind of dangerous. Lots of little cliffs to slide off of.
