Comments
Comments: Cold but beautiful day up to Jefferson summit with RGOH. Temp -7 F, wind 30 mph (avg) NW. Sunny with great views. Plenty of fresh snow and drifts, we postholed occasionally with snowshoes on. GPS was helpful for tracking the trail above treeline. Saw a few other brave souls, one guy descending who'd back packed and camped the night before below treeline (brrrr), and another who blew past us, tagged Mt Clay, and was descending as we were above treeline heading over to Jefferson. Trails below treeline were reasonably packed and we mostly wore snowshoes... Above treeline different story, no discernable track due to the wind & drifts.
