Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Limited roadside parking at a small pulloff near the height of land, opposite the gated access road, on Oak Hill Road in Loudon. No snow at the moment, but this pulloff is not usually plowed, FYI.

Lost and Found: I found what I was looking for. 
 
Comments
Comments: The access road was a mix of dry ground and avoidable ice, aside from one section around 820 ft., a slab of thick ice which requires scooting off the road a bit. More snow as you ascend, but probably only an inch or two max and not consistent. Traction is not needed at the moment. The road has also been rutted pretty good in places by vehicles going to the fire tower. There's a large cairn at the summit now which I don't recall seeing before.

On the way up and down I took a side trip to a place which was really cool. Exactly as advertised.
