Comments
Comments: Rob and I wore spikes to the ledges, crampons up the ledges, then snowshoes the rest of the way, until going back to spikes in the last 1/2 mile or so to the car. Other than Rollins, which had some chop and post-holing from bare-booters, the rest of the trails are in good shape, and hopefully we smoothed out Rollins a bit with our snowshoes. Only a few snow/ice laden small spruce crawl-unders along the Rollins--much less than I saw on Moos and the Hancocks last week.
