Comments
Comments: A beautiful day to get this hike in before a possible thaw might weaken the firm snowshoed trail. Was able to bareboot the whole hike. Snowshoes got a free ride. While the bushwhack meandered a lot and dropped down to Isolation trail too early, it avoided any thick stand of trees. Only caution is that there are some postholes, made mostly by moose and have been partly covered by drifting snow. We took a few spills sliding into them. Nice to run into Danielle and two friends, two of them using their snowshoes to avoid those postholes.
