| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail broken out is the older version . The area near the river is eroded and narrow, use caution. Many twigs and brush littered the trail from yesterday's high winds. One woman in our party (thanks Dot) used her saw to cut down 4 or 5 branches in trail, others removed the debris . Trail is in good shape. |

| Comments: |
Perfect weather conditions for a trek to Carrigain . Trail was broken out nicely in lower elevations. Wind caused some significant drifts higher up on Signal Ridge with at least 4 to 6 inches of fresh snow. Our group of 6 and 1 man and his dog broke out the trail nicely .We all wore snowshoes up and down.Congratulations to the aspiring gridders today on the Mountain with another peak in the bag ! |
