We parked next to the gas station a little west of the trailhead and walked. The trailhead lot is plowed and looks fine but the road itself is pitted. |

The trail up to Starr King was great today, hard packed and microspike friendly. However, the warmer temperatures had turned the ridge trail to Waumbek into soft cement. It was hard going as we had to knock huge clogs of snow from our microspikes every few steps. The conditions will be anyone's guess after tomorrow's rain but there's a good snow depth so hopefully it'll survive.
