Comments
Comments: To hike the ski slopes, pay inside for an uphill access ticket. Stay to the far left trails (mostly Polecat) when hiking up the slopes. Snowshoes were a must today with the warm temps, even with them on I sunk in on some of the closed trails, felt like late April on the slopes. Not too many skiers and boarders out since most of the trails were in rough shape or closed. From the partial views I had across the notch of the Presidential Range, the snow pack up above treeline to a hard hit, I could easily see rock in a lot of places, whereas the previous few weeks it was a vivid white snowscape, bummer!
