The whole trail had firmed up with last nights cold temps. Trail rail was not deep at all until Hi-Cannon junction. Beyond that I don`t believe it was ever over 2ft. 2 things to keep in mind. Just below the ladder there is a pretty tricky rock formation that is coated in ice. The other was just after the Lonesome Lake look out. For about .2 of a mile there is a lot of rock exposure with running water and ice. The ladder was 90% exposed. Other than that it was a fast track. I used snowshoes car to car.
