| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
3 cars at 7:30 a.m. and 7 cars at 1:30 p.m. There was probably space for another 3 or 4. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction, Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were easily rock-hopped. At the most difficult crossing, it looked like people had searched upstream earlier for a better crossing, but today there was no need to do that. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few duck-unders, but nothing significant. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a couple. A winter hiking dog would have no issues with the trail, but feet would get wet at the numerous water crossings on the Greeley Pond Trail. Not sure I would take a dog through the chimney area between East Osceola and Osceola, but owners know their dogs best. |

| Comments: |
The trail was in great condition -- well-packed with no need for snowshoes. Microspikes were sufficient ascending. Crampons would be useful for the steep descent from East Osceola. I can't thank the people who break out these trails enough. |
