Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The brook in the beginning was a bit dicey. We crossed upstream on a branch and frozen ice. Lots of open water where streams cross the trail with the recent rain. They were manageable but made for slower going.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of lowdown’s but no problems.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw some dogs. Managing the open water would have been only issue.

Comments: Great day to be out. Not as cold as expected. Trail is in great shape except for the spots of open water. Lots of snow on the ridge made for good views. Spikes all that were necessary.
