Comments
Comments: nice snowshoe track from trailhead to summit. a trace to an inch of new powder on top and some light drifting around the ledges. a number of trees leaning into the trail up high and a bit brushy in spots.
wore snowshoes the whole hike.
nice hike to moriah. first time using this trail and found it pretty enjoyable. nice views from the ledges around mt. surprise early, but clouded up and started snowing lightly by the time i reached the summit. nice to see mark and cynthia on the hike out.
