Weather coming over the Kancamangus Pass was interesting. As stated above access to the trail head is NOT plowed and more snow is coming this week. Trail going counter clockwise is broken out with a few inches of powder on a solid base. This becomes less consolidated as you approach the top. BRING SNOWSHOES. Zig looked like the trail heading clockwise has not been touched for a while. Ultimately, the weather turned me back. Not interested in having my dog on open ledges with high wind gusts. We’ll be back again for those last .3 to the summit. |
