|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Pemigewasset, NH|
||Mt. Pemigewasset Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Thursday, January 10, 2019|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||The trailhead was plowed. We were the only ones there today. |
||Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||The half-log crossing was a little anxiety making with snowshoes on but we all made it across fine. All others are small and easily stepped over. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||No problems |
|Lost and Found:
||Following the snow storm which dumped 12"-18" on the trails, and given the forecast for high winds today, we abandoned our plan to hike Canon and broke out Pemi instead.|
It was beautiful with the fresh snow and the trail is well-blazed. It's now in good shape for snow shoes but not consolidated enough for spikes yet.
