Comments
Comments: Had ambitions of doing the loop hike over Big Ball, Black Snout and Shaw. 8 of us in snowshoes broke out the Italian Trail and up to summit of Big Ball. After summit, we followed one cairn, but then lost the trail. We lost (but eventually found) the trail several times before that, so once we lost it again after Big Ball summit, we decided to tuck tail and head back.

Did not see any activity on Shaw Trail where it splits from Italian Trail.
