Took Lonesome Lake Trail to Fishin' Jimmy. Lonesome Lake Trail was broken out and was in really good shape especially on the way down due to all the traffic. Cut across the lake to the Lonesome Lake Hut. Had to break Fishin' Jimmy. Good amount of snow and some occasional snow drifts. Hit Kinsman Ridge Trail where another group was breaking. They came up Mount Kinsman Trail. We made it to North Kinsman and called it a day. The way down was very smooth and again, hit a ton of traffic. Low temps should make the trail real nice. Only saw two bare-booters, but everyone else had snow shoes and on their way down should clean it up a little. |
