| Comments: |
19 Mile Brook is packed. Light or no traction required. Carter Dome Trail is well packed for approx. 1 mile. Snow shoes recommended. The upper half of Carter Dome Trail and all of Carter-Moriah Trail is deep, loose snow with lots of drifting. It's been bare-booted by a few people and there are lots of post-holes. Snowshoes recommended. We saw two wandering trails off the main trail that eventually reconnected. The summit cone is mostly thin, crusty snow with minimal exposed blue ice. |
