Comments
Comments: North to south traverse of the the Packs - Wapack Trail to the Auto Rd

Great day - cold but no wind made for very pleasant hiking conditions! A few inches of snow covering ice heading up to North Pack with a few exposed icy spots. A lot of ice heading down off North Pack easily negotiated w/ careful stepping. More snow in the woods as you head across the ridge and up toward the summit of Pack. Auto Rd is covered with a couple inches of snow. Trail throughout is well packed and light traction was the perfect choice today.
