Firm, packed snow throughout the loop except for some drifted areas, not bad. Snowshoes not needed. Snowfield just below Lafayette summit on OBP has some ice in an exposed spot. We by-passed the snowfield to its south. That and the butt slid sections of OBP are easier in heavier traction/crampons. |
