| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of cars stuck this morning, plenty of people double parking. About 1/3 of the lot looked plowed, the rest was rough. Unless someone plows the lot (unlikely with the shutdown) it likely may be almost inaccessible after tonight's storm. |

Took advantage of the great weather window today before the storm. Lincoln Woods is a packed highway. Black Pond was in fine shape. The Black Pond whack is also in great shape, quite a bit lower than normal. Follows about the 1800 contour. There is a group of four guys out there tonight camping about half way down the whack so it will likely be rough broke after the snow. Lincoln Brook is in great shape also. Noted several blow downs and a few potential water bars for spring. Brutus is well broken and super obvious. All in all, a great day on the owl. Not that this TR will help much unless you have the ability to teleport and can hike 16 miles in like 2 hours :P |
