Comments
Comments: Both the Mount Major Trail and Boulder Trail were broken out, but not hard packed. I started out in microspikes, but switched to snowshoes about 1/3 of a mile from the trailhead and kept them on for the rest of the hike. Very little ice, even in the ledgy upper part of the Mount Major Trail, and there was some minor drifting at the top.
