Comments
Comments: we briefly walked the road west to use the bridge over horne brook and at a likely point started our bushwhack. down low was a mix of old log/skid roads and whippy young hardwood forest. generally breaking about 12" over a pretty solid base. higher up there was deeper snow and more drifting with some good open conifers and a few steep pitches before more scrappy/thick spruce up to the near summit ledges and recognized highpoint. we returned in our tracks and the snow was compacting well.
