On Sunday afternoon, the bottom mile of Lowe's had several open crossings that were awkward in snowshoes. |

Lowe's was well packed below treeline. Crampons were useful above treeline for a couple of firm snowfields. There was minimal drifting above treeline. On the way down we broke out the Spur Trail to Crag Camp. Lowe's was getting very soft in the warmth by the end of the day, and snowshoes would be helpful until it gets cold again. |
