The trail started off in okay condition but in my opinion snowshoes were a MUST. We reached a spot where we sunk in hip deep and broke trail for awhile. Think the mountain got about a foot (or more) of snow since the last trail report. We kept snowshoes on to the summit and did some major buttsliding on the way down. We were definitely the first on the trail. Trail was in much better condition after seeing a few others were snowshoes on. There were some barebooters as well as folks just in spikes so beware, there are some postholes. Not bad though. |
