Comments
Comments: Made a nice quick loop up Pine Mountain and a short bushwhack to the true summit. Trails were generally soft snow with some ice here and there. Several areas of bare ground making for some bony snowshoeing. We wore snowshoes round trip but others were barebooting. Snowshoes helped with traction and floatation on the slushy spring snow. The bushwhack had a very faint track heading toward the summit, snowshoes a must here. We looked around for the jar at the summit to sign in but could not find it. Very warm today with a nice breeze to help keep it cool.
