| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked in the main lot, not by the trailhead. There is significant ice in the "hiker's parking". Needed my spikes to walk across it |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None to speak of |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Very well maintained trail. I could see recent activity of clearing of down trees |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No running water on the trail. The warm weather made Einstein the corgi sink in a few times |
| Bugs: |
Snow fleas are out |
| Lost and Found: |
None |

| Comments: |
A very warm day made for lots of postholing even though I had snowshoes. On the way back down because of the wet snow and steepness, I fell numerous times. Any freezing weather coming up should solidify things. |
