Comments
Comments: It was an odd day. Temps were above freezing throughout, with negligible wind. In February! I expected to see more people out, but there it is. The trail was a bit rough in places, but nothing insurmountable. I think the recent spat of unseasonably warm weather is the culprit, so nothing a good snowfall and cooler temps won't fix. That being said, I never had an even remotely hard time making good headway.

Those planning a trip this weekend, note that the Mt Washington Observatory is forecasting winds in the triple digits, with deadly low wind chills through Sunday, in the higher summits. Be very careful in planning your hikes this weekend. Mother Nature is making up for the warm weather, it would seem.

Kudos to the group of New York City firefighters that had an amazing day climbing up "the rock pile." I saw a lot of smiles, and they're bringing a lot of good memories back home with them.

Photos and video are on my blog. Note that they're in two separate posts.
