my first hike this winter. I did this guy about 25 years ago and didn't realize the ledges weren't the highpoint. recent reports made me realize there is back from the ledges. so I strapped on my hillsounds and went up the well packed trail and did the short bushwack to the highpoint. I didn't find any marker of any kind. there is deep snow that I plunged through more than a few times. if a cairn is on the summit it is buried. at least I feel more like I hit the actual summit. |
