No blowdowns, very few blazes visible at treeline. You have to know where the trails go without them. Blazes in woods are snow-free and clear. |

West Ridge Trail is badly postholed during the thaw last week. You have to keep your eyes on the ground when hiking or you will break a leg. I marvel at the energetic stupidity of people who will climb a mountain that way when snowshoes are so inexpensive... |
