Since an inconsiderate person postholed the heck out of my normal morning destination at Mt. Livermore last week, ruining it for everyone, I went down the street to Bald Ledge.
In the cold temps this morning, the trail was firm enough to spike with zero postholing issues (off trail, crust will not support boots though). If temps near freezing, snowshoes will be needed, as there is a lot of snow and not a good track set. Still plenty of frozen divots and postholes, making for sore ankles. |
