Comments
Comments: Just perfect snowshoe conditions today: a couple of inches of fluffy dry snow, on top of a crust that supported everyone's weight.

From where we parked, bushwhacked westerly up to Bean Mtn. (handle / no can, on backside tree). Nice woods with occasional sections of fir trees. From the summit of Bean, walked northerly and downhill along the wind turbine access road (not posted). I wore snowshoes; others changed into microspikes. Short and steepish whack from the road up to Kennedy Hill (small rock cairn and handle with a mylar balloon wrap). Walked easterly through open woods, turning south and allowing the topography to draw us down. Passed through a frozen marshy area which while quite lovely, would have to be avoided if not for winter.

Great day out with Nate, Ann and Roger.
