From our parking location we continued up the road a short distance to a large boulder and the start of the trail. The trail was marked with red paint, ribbons and well used by what looked like a half a dozen small critter. Well I continued following the critter tracts and lost the red blazed trail, jumped off the tracks and started bushwhacking up, rejoined the trail at the really steep section and we were more than happy to use the ropes. The trail had good snow depth over ice flows so that made it a little tricky. After more steep climbing we hit the summit and recognized high point. Lots of great views and a very carefule climbing down to the truck |
