Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked in the Hidden Valley Scout Camp parking lot. No one else was there all day it seemed. Place was deserted on Presidents' Day, although it appeared that some of the cabins and other buildings do receive some use this time of year. Roads through the camp and the lot were plowed. Snowmobilers were using some of the roads but it appears no other vehicles were around this day.

Comments
Comments: Snowy day redlining the Belknaps. A light snowfall all day, adding a couple of inches of new powder on top of crusty snow. We used light traction up Shannon and ascending Mt Mack. But we eventually switched to snowshoes at the summit of Mack where the snow was deeper and kept them on the rest of the trip over Klem and then down. Thanks to Lone Wolf and Mr and Mrs Camo for a beautiful winter hike.
