Snowshoes |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
none |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is very well marked, looks like it's been recently re-blazed, but there is a fair amount of cutting and clean up work needed. The issue is made much worse due to the snowpack, and the branches being weighed down by the snow. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Did not see a single dog, trail is very dog-friendly, too. |
| Bugs: |
| Lost and Found: |
Found one slightly damaged trekking pole, hung it from a branch on the trail. Within a mile of the trailhead |

An absolutely perfect day to hike. Conditions could not have been any better. Blue sky, NO wind, cold-ish, but very doable temps. Trail is packed perfectly. We used snowshoes the entire time, did see a few with just spikes. The snow is still soft enough that snowshoes are still best at this point. Great views from both peaks. A must-do winter hike!
