Comments
Comments: This was a perfect half day hike to enjoy some views which did not disappoint. We got a late start, around 1030. We ascended the ski tail to the N DH summit/cabin and descended via old path to the col, new path to the three viewpoints on S DH, returned to the col and descended old path to ski trail and out. Was curious about the new lot and the ski trail reroute. It is wonderful because the old route was prone to flooding and the lot tiny. 3' of packed snow on the new bridge near the lot. I wish people would heed the sign that suggests postholing makes the trail unpleasant for skiers, well, really all of us. We and some others wore snowshoes the entire way to preserve the trail.
