No one else on the trail today. You could hear the wind howling while you were hikin, got louder and louder closer to the top. Only used micro spikes, could have gotten away with snowshoes, but would need to be taken off near the summit due to wind. Wind were guesstimated to be 70+ mph gusts and sustained 50mph. Knocked over the 3 of us plenty of times. Touched the summit sign and got down real fast. Humbling when you weigh 220+ lbs with gear and you are being tossed around by the wind. |
