| Comments: |
Conditions on Mt. Roberts Trail were suitable for spikes, but as reported by zporter, snowshoes were necessary once we hit High Ridge at the summit. From that point onward, the trail essentially was unbroken with four to six inches of powder over a two-foot base. Off-trail was more firm, permitting bushwhacks down many of the switchbacks. Great day to be out and about at the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area. |
