The parking lot at the trailhead is not plowed. You will need to park just down the road about 0.3 of a mile and walk to the trailhead. There’s only room for 2 cars, so we had to park off to the side on the road. |

As started above, the parking lot at the trailhead is not plowed. You will need to park just down the road about 0.3 of a mile and walk to the trailhead. There’s only room for 2 cars, so we had to park off to the side on the road. Trail had not been used by too many people before us recently. Started with spikes, but ended up switching to snowshoes after the second crossing with the snowmobile trail and kept them on for the remainder of the hike. About half way up the trail the snow was not as hard packed and snowshoes were needed to keep from postholing. Overall, a great hike with nice views! |
