Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There’s a pair of MSR snowshoes on the mountain! I think one of the low trees below Bondcliff plucked one of my snowshoes off my pack while I was descending. I left the other at the Bondcliff trail sign by the river. I hope whoever finds them enjoys the snowshoes. I didn’t have the energy to go back up the mountain to look for them.

Comments
Comments: Long day! The trail is packed in well all the way. The trees are hard to navigate with the deep snow, but there is a solid path packed. Be careful following diverging snowshoe tracks: some of them lead to places you really need snowshoes. In particular, keep to the right when you get to the trees below Bond. Most people will want snowshoes for this hike. The low branches were the primary issue for me. I’d suggest eye protection of some sort.
