Comments
Comments: 19 MBT could be bare booted. Snowshoes worked best after that and were necessary over to Mt Hight. About 8 to 10 feet of snow on Carter Dome. You are completely above the trees where there is usually a hallway leading to the summit. Incredible! Most signs are at ground level now and the signs for Black Angel, the split to Mt Hight and the one for Rainbow Tr at the summit are completely buried. We broke out the Carter - Moriah Tr Mt Hight, straying off the trail a little but we worked our way through a nice open area with good views. Met a couple people breaking trail up as we were half way down. Excellent snowshoeing today and great weather. Fun day out with Marlie, Bill, Kristen, and Tyler.
