Comments
Comments: The trail was broken out to Mt. Hayes. Now that we have been through, it's very well packed. Ledgy sections had some drifting. The trail was not broken beyond Hayes. Snow was mainly supportive. We were sinking anywhere from three to six inches. Route finding was hard in the col due to open woods, deep snow, and lack of visable blazes. We approximated the route through the col and rejoined the trail to summit. The trail seems to follow the route shown on most maps.
