2 cars at Lafayette Place (northbound) when we started at 6:45 AM, about 15 (still plenty of room) when we finished at 12:30 PM. |

No issues- all snow-bridged. |

Trails in great shape, aside from the expected, occasional branches to the face up high due to several feet of snowpack. |

As long as they can handle cold and wind above treeline, trail is in good shape. |

| Comments: |
Clockwise loop, ascending Old Bridle Path, and descending Falling Waters. We used snowshoes car to car, enjoyed the televators, and never felt the need for additional traction climbing the Lafayette summit cone. Microspikes probably would have been optimal along the ridgeline, due to occasional patches of bare rock, but we weren't about to freeze while stopping to change equipment in 5-degree temperatures and intermittent gusts to 30-35 mph. Cairns generally easy to spot above treeline. Waterfalls on Falling Waters Trail almost completely frozen. |
